The Submarines were advertised as support act but it was Miaow who played before The House Of Love. Other sources have mentioned The Beloved as another support band, but they did not play either.

“This was my first encounter with The House Of Love as had never seen, heard or heard of them prior to the concert. Travelled down from Northants to see Felt and this turned out to be one of my favourite ever live gigs. The House Of Love were a revelation, memorable songs, clearly already well drilled as a live band and compelling to watch. They definitely did Shine On and Christine and when I first heard Plastic, Love and The Hedonist on record, they also sounded familiar. There were also definitely leather trousers being worn.” P
